It's 2013! Can't imagine how fast 2012 passed by. I guess the amount of project I was involved with in 2012 made me forget the time. Last year I noticed tremendous growth in web technology and cloud. Small and medium businesses understood the power of information technology and how they can add value to their business process. As a Technology Solution Architect - I had a challenging time to get some of the start-ups to have a flying start by the help of social network and mobile technologies.
My name is Naweed Qadir. I am a Kiwi Bangladeshi Information Technology Solution Architect and has been working in this industry for last 18 years! Besides working in the IT industry full-time as IT Manager I also work part-time as an independent IT Consultant and Contractor. My job gives me opportunity to constantly trial new solutions to make my clients reach their full potential with the help of information technology tools. My various roles in IT industry has given me the confidence and expertise to handle projects for people who had vision and ideas but did not have the expertise to bridge the gap with the help of Information Technology to make their dream reality. I am based in New Zealand's busiest city Auckland. Back in 2006 I decided to set-up an IT solution company to extend my support to small businesses. In my own experience I found that small businesses are always ignored by major IT service providers and often pushed towards wrong information systems solutions. In this modern age information technology is one of the essential part of the business process and I believe if a business utilises information technology in the right way along with other essential parts of business then there is no turning back from success. Information technology is part of every process in business - from operation to marketing - only way to make yourself outstanding is through right use of technology at the right time.
