It seems like all the major players in Cloud service have decided to go head to head to increase their service - specially the quota for their users to retain or win them over their competitors. This is definitely a great time for the users who just need to sit back and enjoy the increased services by the cloud service providers. After Microsoft's announcement to incorporate SkyDrive in to their OS - both Desktop and Mobile - Google has increased their cloud quota as well.
I was quite happy to see extra 3GB increase in my free Google Apps account - taking my Email quota as a free user from 7GB to 10GB. Although Google boasts their Document service space potentially unlimited provided you are using their default service creating documents, spreadsheets and presentations but incorporating photos and other types of documents is still limited to 1GB space. Which is disappointing. But I understand Google business policy but as a general user I believe people will move away from their cloud service only because you get larger space to backup which is very important from today's social network fanatic users.
