Over the last 17 years of my involvement with IT has taken me through journeys from managing small business network to corporate network.
I started as a software programmer and later I concentrated on user experience - UI designing. After 5 years in software development field, my passion grew for computer networking and security. During working as an UI designer I started working on web development and with different designing tools.
At the same time I got offer from universities and colleges to teach Management Information Systems, System Security Management and LAN technology based on Microsoft and IBM technology. Which I continued for several years.
My skills in various fields helps me understand my clients from different industries with different challenges. It also helps me to give feedback to my clients from various perspectives. Dealing with various users have also given me insight of user needs and ways to explain technicality in plain simple language.
Specially with new upgrades and major changes in IT applications and technologies - I found myself most of the time explaining the changes that has taken place. Productivity can only occur when you can take advantage of your upgraded tools and applications. My job is to make the user understand the advantage of the upgraded products.
